Project Smile X
Hello dear smiling and clowning friends!!! Here are your new Smile X Coordinators, Alessandro and Diana, writing to you for the first time. We are very very happy for the chance to coordinate this amazing project toghether, we are 2 different persons from 2 different countries working toghether. Feel free to contact both of us about all your questions about the project. We will be ready very soon to work with you all and to explain you what’s going on with smile X: we are planning some important changes and modifies that will allow Smile X to grow up worldwide and will help you, already working with clown therapy, to fix all that problems that you are facing in your countries. But first of all we think that it’s important for you to know who are we, so we decided to write you a short presentation. Here now is writing Alessandro, and i’ll let Diana introduce herself before me (you now, i’m a gentleman :P) “My name is Diana Tashkova and i am a medical student at the 3rd year of study in the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria. In our association – ASMB – Bulgaria, i am NORP. For 3 years i managed to organise campaigns, to participate in all kind of medical meetings and i learned plenty of new things in the medical sphere. For the time i have in my hands, i want to achieve the aims of Smile X project and the standing committes that need my help”. Here is Alessandro again. You have to know that my new friend Diana is very serious. As soon as selected Diana was interviewed by journalist for famous bulgarian newspaper, and here i write you her declarations : “At first, i would like to thank for the chance to coordinate this amaizing project with Alessandro Rafaelle. By Smile X project, i see an opportunity for every medical student around the world to build his own approach to the patients in a very untypical way. I believe me and Alessandro will coordinate Smile X project well because i have very big desire, enought time to work and to learn the art of clownery. With responsailibily, love and smiles, we ll succeed ! J” Amazing no??? :D Of course i’ts a joke, no journalist interviewed her…but it was funny no? And fun is our new philosophy!!! So…what about me??? I’m the old clown Alessandro, art name “Bruco”, that in Italian means worm (please don’t ask anything about this :D :D :D). I say old cause i’m 25 y.o. (26 on Jan 20, don’t forget your presents!!!), i’m already doctor, i finished my studies in last July and i’m attending pediatric surgery waiting for the residency. I’m clowning since 2003, i started in my city, Monza, and i already helped the ex-coordinator (Zawi) for this project. I love it (not zawi, the project!!! Even if zawi is soooo sexy lol) and the different way of working with patients that the projects teaches. I can say that in my experience clowning helped me to become the doctor who i am, and i really feel the difference in caring about patients!!! Now i think it’s enough. I don’t want to bother you about my life and bla bla bla… J I’m happy to work with Diana and I’m sure that we ALL TOGHETHER will make a great job. Yes guys (and girls), don’t forget that we are supposed to be A TEAM! We are going to work toghether all this year and Diana and me hope that you will care of us in the same way we will of you ;) Don’t be afraid on writing, asking and so on!
