Call for International Coordinator Trasnational Project - SMILE X-

Dear IFMSA folks,

As Marco´s  term as IC is ended, we are opening the Official Call for a new International Coordinator of the Transnational Project "Smile X".

Smile X is a Transnational Project of IFMSA since 2006, and aims to create a network, to develop among medical students and schools a different culture of taking care of patients’ problems, to make the doctor-patients relationship closer and more human and to improve the patients’ life quality during hospitalization. It has won the Rex Crossley Award during UK AM 2007 and participated to all the GA's from 2006 to 2009.

The deadline for applications is November 10th 2009, 13.00 CET.

The candidates for the transnational project must meet the following requirements at the time of application:

• Be a medical student, or not have graduated more than 6 months by the time when his/her office term starts;
• Not be a member of a National Member Organization that is in violation with the IFMSA Constitution and Bylaws.

All candidates should enclose the following documents:

• A plan of action
A motivation letter
A curriculum vitae

The selection of candidates shall be done by the Projects Support Division Director, the SCOPH Director and the former International Coordinator  of the Project.
