Started with SetFSB because it's very easy to use. When i set the FSB from the stock
333mhz to 400mhz the system seems to run perfectly stable but i noticed a weird issue.
Some games seemed to run sped up. I confirmed my suspicions by comparing the windows stopwatch
to my phones and it indeed ran 20% too fast (333mhz > 20% > 400mhz for your information).
Clarification: LGA775 motherboards are smart enough to have a seperate clock from the fsb speed. But many programs use the fsb as a clock. Normally this isn't a problem because the clock on the fsb is set relative to the speed of the fsb at boot. But if you change the fsb speed after boot in windows, the clock speed isn't recalibrated and runs as fast as your overclock. This causes many programs to run faster than they should (which would be prefferable for productivity software, but not for games). The actual seperate clock IS used by windows for time and date, which is why I haven't had an issue with time and date drifting, but I have had an issue with in game time drifting.
