Position :: DBA

Location : Plano, TX

Duration: Contract

 

 

Skills:

·          Experience in migrating MongoDB/ DB2 / PostgreSQL

·          Database High Availability and Disaster Recovery:

·          Develop and test disaster recovery strategies to ensure data availability and business continuity.

·          Database Security:

·          Enforce security measures, access controls, and encryption to protect sensitive data.

·          Perform periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.

·          Database Performance Tuning:

·          Identify and resolve complex performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and resource contention issues in MongoDB DBA

·          Database Backup and Recovery:

·          Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies for MongoDB DBA

·          Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures to ensure data recoverability.

·          Database Monitoring and Alerts:

·          Set up proactive monitoring and alerting for database health and performance issues.

·          Respond to alerts and incidents promptly to minimize service disruptions.

·          Database Patching and Upgrades:

·          Database Automation and Scripting:

·          Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline routine database management tasks.

·          Database Documentation:

·          Create and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

·          Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

·          Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve complex database-related issues.

·          Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 2 support and other teams to address escalated incidents.

·          Database Project Management:

·          Lead database-related projects, such as database migrations, consolidations, and performance enhancements.
