Position :: Database Admin

Location : Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: Contract

 

 

Skills:

  • Experience with Vertica & Hadoop Database Administrator with advanced knowledge of Vertica & Hadoop databases.
  • In-depth understanding of Server architecture, configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Strong proficiency in Vertica & Hadoop database architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Expertise in database high availability solutions for Vertica & Hadoop databases.
  • Familiarity with database security, backup, and recovery best practices.
  • Experience with database clustering and load balancing technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
