Hello to those concerned about Project 2025:
Despite changes in the presidential race, there is still a concern about the existence and possible use of dangerous and harmful proposals from the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, a blueprint for a conservative presidential campaign and administration. In Maine, we hope to create a coalition of groups and individuals to expose the problems of this “blueprint” and to offer better options for what any new administration should offer as its values and programs.
Therefore, we are planning a zoom call on Monday, August 26, 6:30-8 PM, to discuss possible responses in Maine. Here is the zoom information. IF YOU ARE PLANNING OR EVEN JUST THINKING ABOUT ATTENDING THE ZOOM MEETING, PLEASE REGISTER. YOU WILL BE SENT A FINAL LINK ON AUGUST 26. JUST CLICK BELOW. Please note that you need to register ahead and get confirmation for this zoom update:
We plan to have several people who have researched the Project 2025 proposals who will give brief presentations at the beginning of the zoom meeting, followed by next steps. Your ideas and involvement is welcomed and appreciated!
If you have questions/comments or cannot attend but are interested in helping with a response to Project 2025, contact Larry Dansinger (below).
