Dear Network Cooperators and Supporters,
CMBA is seeking workshop proposals for the 2022 P6 Conference on April 2nd at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast. Please share widely!
Cooperative Maine Business Alliance is a statewide network that helps cooperatives connect to each other and to the larger movement. Started in 2007, the network has created opportunities for cooperatives and the public to learn about and support a cooperative economy through conferences, workshops, advocacy and outreach. The Principle Six Conference is an annual conference providing opportunity for Maine co-ops to network, access education, and build specific skills since 2013.
We invite you to submit a proposal to share your work at this important conference. Examples of relevant presentation topics for the P6 Conference include:
- Cooperative Housing, Childcare, and/or Transportation
- Cooperative Farming, Food Production, and/or Distribution/Resale
- Equity, Inclusion, and Liberation
- Member and Community Engagement
- Strategic planning with focus and Capital Improvement Plans
- Strengthening internal structures for greater external impact
- Resilient Governance
- Transparent and Accessible Governance
- Financing and Fundraising
- Co-o Finances
- Policy, Advocacy, and Organizing
Proposals are due by February 1st.
