What it doesn't mention is that Neil Woodford, who personally manages this fund, is widely regarded as the top UK equity investor.
So even though the investment will be probably only 1 or 2% of the fund’s total assets it is significant in terms of the investor behind it.

This is very encouraging for all the Ecat supporters out there!
