Hey all!

I’ve been reading Their Blood Got Mixed: Revolutionary Rojava and the War on ISIS written by Janet Biehl and in it they discuss the cooperative structure being built there. Thought people might be interested (it’s a comic so it’s pictures):

* people apply to the administration to start a cooperative
* the administration provides land to run the cooperative on
* 80% of income goes to the workers, 10% goes to the coop, 10% goes to the administration
* members receive vocational training in how to run the coop
* cooperatives have an assembly every six months
* in between assemblies a board makes day to day decisions for the cooperative
