Ok, I followed the following instructions and it definitely works for me.

Steps:
0. Search for all instances of CoolProp.xlam on your computer.  Delete them all.
1. Open Excel, uncheck CoolProp.Xlam in Tools->Add-ins. Close excel
2. Download the 32-bit dylib from http://www.coolprop.dreamhosters.com:8010/binaries/shared_library/Darwin/32bit__cdecl_calling_convention/ and put in ~/lib
3. I downloaded the xlam from http://www.coolprop.dreamhosters.com:8010/binaries/MicrosoftExcel/ and put in ~/lib
4. Open Excel.  Tools->Addins.  Select...  Open the xlam file.
5. Run the example.

Check that:
A. When you go to Tools->Macros->Visual Basic Editor, you see some code that starts with a #If Mac then
B. When you start to type =PropsSI, it tries to autocomplete

I'm pretty sure that one is fixed, though perhaps I didn't commit my changes.  I'll check tonight.

Argh, you have the old xlam.  Download the one from BuildBot, then uncheck the xlam in excel, restart excel, select the new xlam

Yes I see what you mean..    When you start to type PropsSI, does it auto complete?  It seems like your xlam might not have been properly installed, though it sure looks fine.  If you go into the macro editor, can you see the coolprop code?  I think its Tools : Macros : Editor or something like that.

For part 1, I hope you are following the Mac instructions ( http://www.coolprop.dreamhosters.com:8010/sphinx/coolprop/wrappers/Excel/index.html#pre-compiled-binaries-for-osx ).  I guess you are confused by the location ${HOME}/lib?  At a terminal, you can type

echo ${HOME}/lib

And that will tell you where your home folder is.

Otherwise, what is your question?

Regards,
Ian

P.s. your English is fine!

Hi guys,

since yesterday I try to get a current Coolprop build into Excel on my new Macbook pro
environment. Can someone please have a look at this, it fails.

I only find this documentation : http://www.coolprop.dreamhosters.com:8010/sphinx/coolprop/wrappers/Excel/index.html
I think I don't really understand the steps of the part 1 of the tuto (I'm french)...

If someone could help me it would be so cool.

kind regards

PS : sorry for english mistakes (it's not my mother tongue)
