Based off the comments on the YouTube video, there's a lot of speculation going on that these two are in a relationship.
Shawn keeps saying he's been "friends" with Lauren Francesca for years. There's definitely romance brewing. They actually seem to have genuine chemistry. A lot of his fans are rooting for them to get together. The next YouTube super couple!

True, Shawn C. Phillips may have his share of trolls, but he also has a decent fanbase who would be genuinely happy to see Shawn find love. They supported him in his weight loss journey, so now they will support Shawn is his journey to find true love. And maybe Lauren Francesca is the woman in his life.
Admittedly, if they do become a couple, I think even Shawn's parents would support them. Both are geeky and act immature for their age (Lauren Francesca I believe is in her late 20s, maybe even early 30s). Both are very compatible with each other and have similar interests. Wouldn't surprise me if they end up falling in love.
Shawn C. Phillips deserves happiness just like the rest of us. Maybe she's been the one he's been looking for all this time...

I've totally fallen out of following Shawn and Brendan, but for some reason or just out of habit, I looked up Shawn's channel a day or two ago and saw this thumbnail and immediately was like, "Oh my God. Does Shawn have a girlfriend?"
What a crazy development. I know it's not "officially confirmed" but it seems very plausible. I'm pretty shocked. Not gonna lie, I never thought it would happen. I can't remember if it was on her, but I recall someone mentioning that Shawn could date Lauren Francesca and I was like, "No way." Well, whoever that was called it.
It's a shame that it's only happening now, though. Had this happened much sooner, I don't think Shawn would have stopped being friends with Brendan. He'd feel less jealous of Brendan's social life, if Shawn was at home with a woman.
Anyway, good for Shawn as someone else posted, he deserves happiness.

There would be coolduder/Lauren Francesca shippers I'm sure.
With Arden Cho and Ryan Higa officially broken up, cooduder and Lauren Francesca could be the next YouTube super couple.
And perhaps ironically, I can see coolduder being faithful to Lauren. Coolduder isn't exactly getting the ladies, so I think he would appreciate her more than a typical "ladies man."

I'm happy for Chauncey; I've always felt he needed to go for broke so to speak. With Lauren being his boo, it will give him the confidence to chase his dreams. It's shame this is all happening without Brendan as his best friend though.

They did another video together; Chauncey had that new flirty boy energy. He seems to have matured a lot lately; now that he's a director with multiple films under his belt - I suspect he'll soon move into a Studio apartment with his brother.

Maybe eventually they'll really get together. Certainly would be a nice, interesting turn of events for sure.
