No job? Now he's directing movies.

No girlfriend? Now rumored to be dating Lauren Francesca.

What will be his next step to silence his critics?

Shave his head? Move out of his parents house? Cast MJ in his next movie?

I think moving out with his brother is a real possibility; but his parents probably wouldn't want that. They are still very close with their boys.

Chauncey deeply despises hair loss though; so he might put his money towards that instead. hair transplants can look really good nowadays. His would be a massive procedure though, given he's a norwood 7.

Shawn C. Phillips has admittedly fared well since the pandemic.  He's one of the few who actually used the pandemic to his advantage; while a lot of people struggled and fell behind, the pandemic leveled the playing field a bit for the likes of Shawn C. Phillips.

If he really wants to silence his critics, he will move out of the house with his brother and find an apartment.  

Or if he really wants to stick it to his critics and haters, announce that he is officially dating Lauren Francesca!  

He does seem happier though; I've noticed his attitude has changed and he seems more genuinely happy and not faking it like he was the past several years post weight loss.  

Actually cutting Brendan off from his life has helped Shawn C. Phillips.  

What happened to MJ Kelley?  Rumor is that he is off the grid...

I actually think there's no correlation between cutting off Brendan and his recent success. If anything his life would be even more fulfilling now; as he would still have someone to confide in. They were deeply close friends that spoke on the phone every day.

Also - Brendan said everything with Chauncey is a contest - with Chauncey doing well nowadays; he would likely have less anxiety when talking to Brendan.

I always thought it's too bad MJ has seemingly just disappeared. I know people used to sort of rag on him a lot back in the day, but I think people also now ended up generally missing him. I've said that myself in the past, as some of y'all might remember. Like I've half-joked how to this day I'm disappointed we never got a "Gabe and MJ meet" vlog. 

Personally, I think it'd be cool to see Shawn and MJ together again in some way. Supposedly they did bury the hatchet a while back, but I don't know if they've spoken recently. That's about the last I've heard of him for the most part.

It's interesting because acting was MJ's thing, while Shawn was an aspiring director in the early Coolduder days. Shawn is now fulfilling his dream (although I'm skeptical he's really "directing" these movies). The whole Shawn/MJ saga would come full circle with Shawn directing and MJ acting. But I don't think MJ is interested in acting again. I could see Brendan being cast in one of Shawn's movies, though.

If Shawn plays his cards right, he could build his own Z-grade empire (a la David Sterling).

I remember that. Didn't they both major in film or something or another in college too? It definitely would be a full circle kind of thing if that happened. I bet MJ being a "surprise guest" or whatever in a video where he's on set or something would garner a few views for Shawn. But yeah, he may not be interested anymore.

It would be interesting if Chauncey decides to direct a dramatic serious character-driven reunion film. Or what would be more likely - Imagine a reunion vlog polished and planned - with inspiration driven from The Big Chill or Indian Summer (lower budget of course). Chauncey, MJ, Gabe, Dweebo, Brendan, ItzMoe, Luna etc. all reconnecting. Many of the Cringe Crew are private about their life post-2019.

Obviously that would never happen; but it's funny to reminisce this niche group of small youtubers - and how they've all gone down their different pathways.
