Seems like Chauncey has stepped out of his comfort zone with acting, and is now doing cooky / creepy characters - instead of the typical hat-wearing College kid. It marks a big departure in his resume - and I'm glad to see he is reaping the rewards of such a deliberate change.

Did you see his recent live chat? He admitted that his earlier roles were crap ("worst acting I've ever seen") and now considers himself somewhat of a method actor. He said his role in Amityville Shark House was very dark and it took him several weeks to come out of a "weird state." The role has been compared to Heath Ledger's Joker.

He's definitely in his alternative-artistic-actor-director phase. He seems more interested in the film making process; rather than simply being a part of a low-budget film for the thrill of being credited on the DVD case / IMDB.
