AUTUMN APPLE CHOCO - CAKE

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. water
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. finely chopped apples
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat butter and sugar. Add eggs, water and vanilla. Beat in dry ingredients. Add nuts, apples and chocolate chips. Bake 1 hour in greased tube pan at 325 degrees. Serve with whipped cream.
