Hello,

I'd like to introduce myself. Claudia is my name. I emigrated to the
USA when I was eighteen years old and have lived here ever since. Of
course I go back to Italy for visits periodically and if I stay away
too long I miss it terribly. I've worked in different areas of
investment and insurance for a number of years, the last 10 in medical
billing.

I'm the lucky mother of 2 gorgeous boys, age 25 who will be getting
their degrees in June 2009 (I can't wait and neither can they). Yes,
they are twins. I grew up with a set of twin boys and then I raised a
pair. In our family twins don't happen by accident.

I have cooked for a lot of years; more than I care to admit to in
fact. I'm a little prejudiced because I think that Italian food is the
best in the world, so I built a website and recently self published a
cook book entitled "Flavors and Memories". It's a collection of
recipes that started with my great grandmothers (3 of them, great
women) with stories about life in a different place.

Now it's your turn. You can tell me and the group about your passion
for cooking and about your experiences.

Chat soon,

Claudia

WOW, Claudia! Great idea. I think this will be a fine addition to your
online efforts. Thanks for doing this!

I hope your holiday preparations are going well. If you don't have
time for anything but cooking, just cook, and your friends and family
will be delighted! (Just ask them -- do you want me to cook or
decorate?)

I know what they'll say!

Love,
kelly.

Hello Kelly,

Sorry it's taken me a few days to write back. Thank you for your
support on this holiday dilemma. I agree that they'll choose the
cooking. I've been asking my boys, and they are all for the cooking,
soooooooo, that is really all that counts for me.

And, of course, I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm going to do all the
grocery shopping at the different places so it will be a busy day, but
the best part is that I'm picking up my Alexander at San Francisco
airport.....I can't wait for that!

Then the cooking will start.

Hope the Holiday season is grand for you too.

Claudia
