- Winter extravaganza: help! [1 Update]
Topic: Winter extravaganza: help!Sarah <sa...@sarahhickok.com> Nov 28 10:38AM -0800
I signed up for a wonderful winter CSA at Drumlin Farm in Lincoln MA
and am happy but trying to figure out what to make with the following,
in any combo. I have a lot of side veggie type recipes but am having a
hard time figuring out main course type dishes. We've done some soups,
roasted vegs, etc. Any ideas??
Thanks!
Sarah
-cabbage
-squash: hubbard, butternut, acorn, pumpkin
-turnip
-radishes (black and watermelon)
-potatoes
-celeriac
-rutabegas

I usually use a recipe similar to this one
http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Pan-Seared-Scallops-with-Pumpkin-Risotto-105604
without the scallops and just interchanged with whatever winter squash
I have around. Yum. And you don't need to stir constantly, just a few
stirs every couple minutes. Enjoy!
