Hi,

thank you hendy for this program, it's great and it can record almost
everything.
I have a problem with live recordings on NHK world streming news. I
usually record the Hi-quality stream, it is a rmtp address and blader
can record it succesfully. The generated file is a "sdp" file. This
file can be played with vlc but I can't move through the video file.
No fast forward, neither back. Well I finally succeded to convert this
file from sdp to more "friendly" mkv or avi using Any vide converter
but sometimes audio in converted files in mkv or avi is not
synchronized with video.Otherwise the audio in source file (sdp)
played with VLC player is ok.
I suppose this problem comes from some slow buffering in recording
live streams (due to internet connection or traffic congestion), it
happens video freezes for few seconds, but I wonder why the dsp works
great and converted files don't!

Thank you for your kindness!

If it plays fine in videolan, try using videolan to remux to another
format (i.e. mkv) before transcoding or whatever you want to do.
VLC > Media > Convert/Save > Add the .sdp, click Convert/Save
Now, in "settings" section, create a new profile, call it something
like "Video - MKV Passthru", choose the following
Encapsulation: mkv
Video Codec: video, keep original video track
Audio Codec: audio, keep original audio track
if it doesn't have subs you can ignore subs
Now save and choose that profile from the drop-down list
Now choose the destination file and you should be ready to go

I did not test this as I don't have any sdp files, but mkv can handle
pretty much everything.
