Pehla Nasha was not just some song, it was a love anthem. This was a song that 90s kids associated with their first romance, their first crush, or maybe the first time they ever understood love.

The lyrics of the song still make us think of all those times when our crush talked to us for the very first time and it felt like a dream came true. It reminds us of all those little innocent interactions with our first love which still makes us blush like a 14-year-old.

The song is a note-to-note copy. The original tune is a 1973 Algerian chabi genre song called 'Ya Rayah', by Dahmane El Harrachi, one of the most popular chabi artists. The song has been covered by many artists but made most popular by Algerian singer Rachid Taha, who included his version in his eponymous 2nd album in 1993.

This song is a note-to-note copy too. The original is an Italian song by Toto Cutugno, called 'L'Italiano', from 1983. This original too has been covered multiple times across the world and has, among others, a Finnish, Israeli, Brazilian, French and Vietnamese versions.

This is the 3rd note-to-note copy from the soundtrack. The original belongs to a Malaysian/Indonesian singer named Iwan, who is credited with renewing interest in an Indonesian folk music genre called 'Dangdut' popular in Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries. The original song is called 'Yang Sedang Sedang Saja' from Iwan's 1997 album, 'Dangdutnya Iwan'. It is said that Iwan sued Sanjeev-Darshan for the plagiarism and won the case, winning 1 million in Malay currency.

A remarkable video featuring the talented Esteriore Brothers has taken Instagram by storm. A beautiful video of the group enchanting viewers with their soulful rendition of Nasha Ye Pyar Ka Nasha Hai has gone viral. The group sang the original Italian version that inspired the Bollywood adaptation.

The Esteriore Brothers, renowned for their harmonious vocal abilities, comprise four exceptionally gifted siblings: Marco, Paolo, Enrico, and Luca Esteriore. Their rendition of Nasha Ye Pyar Ka Nasha Hai highlights the song's Italian origins, predating its Indian adaptation. The brothers' flawless performance and rich vocals captivate listeners, transporting them to a world of love and passion through music.

Interestingly, the song's journey from Italy to Bollywood is a fascinating tale of cross-cultural musical appreciation. The Indian version, made famous by the 2001 film Mann, was composed by Sanjeev-Darshan and featured the mesmerizing voices of Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurthy and stars Aamir Khan. The original Italian version was sung by Toto Cutugno.

Playing Pehla Nasha on Piano is one of the best things one can do with the Keyboard. This beautiful song can also be played on many other instruments as well. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar was a super hit movie of Aamir Khan and songs of the film are still very popular.

Below there is a video of the song being played on Piano. Before you go ahead and practice the song all by yourself, check the video. You will notice Green and Blue key presses here.
