Hello you Centering Pray-ers—

In case you are still looking for some retreat time this Lenten season, here are two contemplative opportunities, both the weekend after next.

First, there will be a silent centering prayer retreat at The Priory Spirituality Center in Lacey. These semi-annual retreats, staffed by Contemplative Outreach Northwest presenters, are a longstanding tradition at the Priory. They are a wonderful way to go into deeper silence for those who can’t get away for more than a weekend and who need a retreat nearby. The Priory’s spirituality center is small, so the group of retreatants is necessarily small too, and the priory’s community of sisters is well-named—“St. Placid.” Drive onto their peaceful property and you are already worlds away from the busy-ness of daily life. The sisters generously offer the hospitality of a true retreat.

Also, our sister organization Contemplative Outreach of Puget Sound North is offering a day retreat as a part of Contemplative Outreach’s United in Prayer Day. This will be held at St. Mary’s on the Lake in Bellevue.

Advanced registration is required for each of these events. Please see the attached flyers for more details.

Many blessings for continuing a holy Lent as we move closer to Holy Week,

cherry
