Hello all you Centering Pray-ers--
A couple of weeks ago, I send a quick notice
about Susan Komis's upcoming visit on April 15. In case you did not
receive that notice, i am sending it again. Susan is Director of Chapter
Programs and Services for Contemplative Outreach Ltd. and in that capacity
serves as the go-to person for our chapter. She will be with
us here at St. Andrew's on the evening of Wednesday, April 15. The
evening will begin with Centering Prayer at 5:45. Then we will move to the
Parish Hall for a potluck supper at 6:30, followed by Susan's presentation on
servant leadership at 7:15pm.
Susan will also be leading a retreat in our area
the following weekend. For information about that, see www.copugetsound-north.org.
Hope that some of you might have been able to
participate in the United in Prayer, United in Silence virtual prayer vigil last
weekend. As a continuation of United in Prayer, United in Silence, we will meet
this Saturday, March 28 for a day of prayer and exploration of mystery. In the
library at St. Andrew's 9am-1pm.
And last a reminder that the Priory in Lacey will
be hosting a Welcoming Prayer workshop on April 18. We haven't had a Welcoming
Prayer workshop in quite a while so please take advantage of the opportunity to
learn this powerful prayer practice or to renew and deepen your
practice.
I have attached flyers for all of these events.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Also please email me to RSVP for
March 28 or April 15. For the Priory event, please contact me with content
questions but please register with the Priory directly.
Many thanks to you and continued Lenten
blessings,
cherry
