As the row over the entry to temples by all believers continued, a joint meeting of the Yoga Kshema Sabha of Namboodiri Brahimins and allied communities on Saturday cautioned the Kerala government against any move to bring in legislation to allow all to worship in Hindu temples irrespective of their religion.

Yoga Kshema Sabha president M V S Namboodiri told reporters that the consensus at the meet was that the question of entry to temples by \"all believers\" should be discussed with all Hindu organisations, religious scholars and eminent personalities before any decision is made.

The meet also urged ministers and politicians to refrain from making controversial statements on the issue, which came to sharp focus with the \"purification rite\" conducted following the visit of Union Minister Vayalar Ravi\'s son Ravi Krishna to Guruvayur temple on the ground that his mother is a Christian.

The meet was attended by representatives of Warrier Samajam, Pushpaka Seva Sangham, Marar Kshema Sabha and Madhva Sabha, all groups representing communities traditionally assigned with various duties in temples like cleaning, culling flowers, making garlands and playing percussion instruments.
