Special RMA Provisions:

Kingston Warranty Policy

Kingston has a toll free number to call from Singapore: you can call 1-800-8861042 in Singapore to reach a Kingston tech support officer. The Kingston Tech Support is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm China/Taiwan time, Monday to Friday. Hotlines support English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Cantonese and Malay.

Lifetime Warranty:
The following Kingston products are covered by this warranty for life:

Memory modules including ValueRAM, HyperX and Kingston system specific memory, Flash memory cards (e.g. Secure Digital, CompactFlash, MultiMediaCard, SmartMedia) ATA Flash, and Linear Flash; memory expansion-boards, networking adapters; routers, hubs and switches without cooling fans (excluding the power supply), Flash adapters and microprocessor upgrade products.

Five-Year Warranty:
The following Kingston products are covered by this warranty for a period of five years from the date of original retail purchase: PC Card Readers and USB DataTravelers.

Two-Year Warranty:
The following Kingston products are covered by this warranty for a period of two years from the date of original retail purchase: Solid state PC Card (PCMCIA) adapters, MobileLite and microSD Reader.

One-Year Warranty:

The following Kingston products are covered by this warranty for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase: DataTraveler Accessory Kit, TravelLite SD/MMC Reader and KPEX Portable Media Player.

Discontinued products not listed in the warranty are no longer covered as their warranty has expired.

This limited warranty applies only to the original end user customer of the product for so long as the original end user customer owns the product. This limited warranty is non-transferable. 

Standard Operating Procedure for claims in Kingston Service Centre - Convergent Singapore

Please submit your defective product together with the packaging box and any receipt or identifying stickers if possible. Having product, packaging and receipt will help us identify your product's part number, origin and authenticity quickly and help us speed up your RMA process.

Convergent Systems will facilitate RMA for all Genuine Kingston memory modules. It is advisable to ensure that you purchase Kingston Value Memory modules from authorised dealers and to ensure that your purchases are genuine Kingston as a strict pre-requisite for warranty. We may have to spend some time to verify the authenticity of your product.

Convergent warrants all genuine Kingston products, but if we have to establish authenticity, there may be a delay in processing your warranty. We have to spend time to establish authenticity, and limited buffer stocks to do a one-to-one exchange, and because of this, we need to prioritize customers whose Kingston products are easily recognizable to be genuine.

If you bought a product not immediately recognized by us as a genuine Kingston product, we may not at this time be able to offer you a one-to-one exchange. However, if there are questions of authenticity, but you require us to help you claim your warranty from Kingston, we will take your defective part and send it back to Kingston. If it is verified to be a genuine Kingston part, you will get this part back normally within 2-3 weeks. If it is not verified as a genuine Kingston part, the part might be retained as evidence of legal infringement of Kingston's intellectual property rights, and you will be informed duly and may be asked to aid in Kingston's investigations.

If you require an immediate exchange for products not immediately recognizable to be a genuine Kingston product, we suggest that you go back to the retailer you purchased to ask for a replacement.

Any Burnt/Physical Damage to Kingston products will be replaced/repaired/rejected based solely on manufacturer’s instructions.


LG Warranty Policy
  • LG provides a technical support hotline in Singapore. You can reach LG at 6512 0555.
  • For all LCD monitor issues, LG Tech Support hotline will be able to address them. For complicated issues, it is recommended that users check out this forum first as issues may not be totally related to the monitor itself.

APC Warranty Policy
  • APC supports on-site replacement warranty. If you have issues with APC products, you can contact APC Singapore Technical Support: 6389 6823


Universal abit Warranty Policy
  • All previous Abit motherboards carry a 2 year warranty policy distributed by Convergent Systems Singapore. As for the new Universal Abit motherboards, eg. AW9D, KN8 Series (purchased after 1 AUGUST 2006), KN9 Series, etc. they carry a 3 year warranty. For Abit graphics card, there is a 1 year warranty policy.
  • All Universal abit warranty statement is effective from the end-user date of purchase.
  • Universal abit warranty claims will be verified through either a receipt or the warranty sticker pasted at the back of the motherboard/graphics card. The manufacturer label is also sufficient.
  • A 1-1 exchange will be conducted within the first 7 days commencing from the date of purchase. Thereafter, the appropriate RMA will be undertaken to repair or replace with new/buffer boards.
  • All Abit products with physical damage will be subjected to manufacturer terms.


Xpertvision/Palit Warranty Policy
  • All Xpertvision/Palit graphics card and motherboards carry a 2 year warranty policy distributed by Convergent Systems Singapore.
  • All Xpertvision/Palit warranty statement is effective from the end-user date of purchase
  • Xpertvision/Palit warranty claims will be verified through either a receipt or the warranty sticker pasted at the back of the graphics card/motherboard. The manufacturer's barcode labels are also sufficient.
  • A 1-1 exchange will be conducted within the first 7 days commencing from the date of purchase. Thereafter, the appropriate RMA will be undertaken to repair or replace with new/buffer cards.
  • Any Xpertvision/Palit products with burnt/physical damage will be subjected to manufacturer terms.


eVGA Graphic Card Warranty Policy
  • All eVGA graphics card carry a 2 year warranty policy distributed by Convergent Systems Singapore.
  • All eVGA warranty statement is effective from the end-user date of purchase
  • eVGA warranty claims will be verified only through a receipt. eVGA barcode on the card will be needed also.
  • A 1-1 exchange will be conducted within the first 7 days commencing from the date of purchase. Thereafter, the appropriate RMA will be undertaken to repair or replace with new/buffer cards.
  • Any eVGA products with burnt/physical damage will be subjected to manufacturer terms.
  • eVGA step up program will not be available in Singapore.


Lexar Warranty Policy
  • Lexar “Professional Series”, “Platinum”, “Platinum II” and “Premium” flash cards, Lexar JumpDrive® Lightning - As long as owned by original purchaser
  • All other Lexar flash cards (except xD-Picture Card) - 5 years from purchase
  • Lexar card readers, JumpDrive USB flash drives (except JumpDrive Lightning) - 2 years from purchase
  • Any Burnt/Physical Damage to Lexar products will be replaced/repaired/rejected based solely on manufacturer’s discretion.


For all Flash Memory Products:

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL LEXAR/KINGSTON BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST IMAGES, DATA, REVENUE OR PROFIT, OR FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF Convergent Systems HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT WILL Convergent ‘s LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT.

IF CONVERGENT SYSTEMS AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS ARE INSTRUCTED BY THE USER TO RECOVER DATA FROM FLASH MEMORY PRODUCTS, PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF IRRETRIEVABLE DATA LOSS AND USER SHALL NOT HOLD CONVERGENT SYSTEMS AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBLE IN ANY WAY FOR ANY DATA LOSS WHICH MIGHT OCCUR. 

WHEN SUBMITTING NON-VOLATILE MEMORY PRODUCTS TO CONVERGENT FOR REPAIR, USER WARRANTS THAT THERE IS NO CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION IN THE FLASH MEMORY, AND CONVERGENT SYSTEMS AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES ARISING FROM THE DATA HELD WITHIN THE NON-VOLATILE MEMORY.
