Within the film, the song is performed as a dance at a wedding in Rajasthan. After fighting with her love interest Sameer (Salman Khan), Nandini (Aishwarya Rai) draws the attention of Vanraj (Ajay Devgan) who is a guest at the wedding. Saroj Khan choreographed the dancers.[5]
The song was parodied by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in February 2018. In the video, they digitally replaced Ajay Devgan's head with Donald Trump Jr. to satirise Trump's comments about poor people in India.[7]
Born on November 22, 1948, Saroj Khan aka Nirmala Kishanchand Sadhu Singh Nagpal is one of the most talented choreographers in Hindi Cinema. Saroj Khan turns 66 today and till date she has choreographed approximately 200 songs in films. During childhood itself, Khan appeared in Nazarana film at the age of three in 1950. From dancer she shifted as a choreographer and got her first break in Geeta Mera Naam in 1974. Saroj Khan choreographed many super duper hit songs which comprises of Hawa Hawai, Chandni, Tezaab, Tamma Tamma Loge, Dhak Dhak Karne Laga and Gulaab Gang. Soon she became one of the most successful choreograohers of B-town.
