Need to censor or cut out parts of your audio? Our tool makes that simple. You can use the Cut button to eliminate any mistakes or dead air. You can also add beeps and other humorous sound effects if you want to censor parts of your audio easily.

So, I'm currently using a Windows 10 PC which has an i7 7700 CPU, a GTX 1050ti, and 16GB of ram to edit on PP (I know it's not ideal but it can definetly do for now). It's the workstation I currently have at work until the new machine arrives in a few weeks. But something is definetly not right here. When using the new AI Audio Enhancer feature, this tool is simply not using ANY of the cpu or the gpu installed. Task manager says PP is using 0% gpu and 1% cpu while the enhance speech effect is processing the audio. Could it be that it needs the latest gen of cpu or gpu and it won't even attempt to work with older hardware? This doesn't seem right. I mean, the logical thing would be for PP to max out cpu and gpu, and if the machine is slow even at 100% usage, then too bad, right? But that's not what's happening, I'm using what's supposed to be a cpu intensive tool and the fan is barely kicking in.

Steps to reproduce: 1- Insert footage into project and then onto the timeline. 2- Click the audio track and go to "Essential Audio" tab. 3- Select "speech" and proceed to edit some Reverb and Noise reduction in. 4- Click "ENHANCE" button and wait.
Expected result - Since it's supposed to be a CPU intensive workload, the CPU usage on task manager was supposed to go up to a meaningful amount and the CPU fan should kick in at high RPM.
Actual result - GPU usage remains on 0% while CPU never goes beyond 4%, staying most of the time at 1%.

It is up and working again for me as well. I checked the forum mentioned in my original posting, the lead designer on the Adobe Podcast team replied a few hours ago and mentioned they had an issue and are getting it resolved. I just tested it and it is working again.

I am experiencing the same problems today 3/27/23 (USA-west coast). Upload a file, and wait 10 minutes for it to process and enhance. It then gives me an error message. I've also been using adobe podcast enhancer for the last few months and has been amazing, just wish it was built into premiere or audition. But today...

"You've reached the daily limit of 1 hour per day! Upgrade to Express Premium to enhance up to 4 hours of content a day. Yet again, I'm getting this message even though I've only attempted to enhance 20 minutes of audio on seperate days. Adobes length of days appear to be different to reality! Happens mostly at weekends, Saturday/Sunday. Could it be deliberate i order to get us to upgrade?

Already resetted my cache, already signed in with google, with subscription active. Anyone currently experiencing this same problem?

So I found this error when trying to emulate my phone, since the website works fine on phone. But it would be annoying, since I must switch from PC to phone repeatedly when working on a project. Can someone from adobe podcast fix this issue ASAP? It's driving us crazy.

Hi, recently when windows were my main os I've been enjoying the new free Fxsound(old dfx audio enhancer) a lot. I do encourage you if have any access to windows via dual-boot or emulator test it and see how it's so great.

I mean if you see in Fxsounds there is a whole bunch of presets for every type of audio and they are actually pretty well doing the exact job even in addition there are some more downloadable from their site or elsewhere.

Thank you very much! Unfortunately after trying it it didn't work. Searching around it seems the problem is that the current DFX Winamp plugin is a Winamp 5-style DLL, and ffdshow only supports Winamp 2-style ones (that menu name is quite literal). I've contacted FXsound's support asking whether they know of some other way to make DFX work with Zoom Player. Once I receive a reply I'll post an update here.

Recently purchased DFX 11.017. Simply install DFX, then go to options>advanced mode>audio and select DFX speakers under Audio renderer (is shows up in my zoom as the first one), select that apply and Voila! - the magnificence of Zoom player meets the power of DFX!

Click Publish to export your enhanced voice as an MP3, WAV, or AAC audio file. Or continue editing with your enhanced voice track by editing the text in your transcript or timeline to create audio and video content.

Descript keeps speaker audio intact as it automatically removes noise and applies speech enhancement to voices, so your vocal audio rings loud and clear. Any quiet parts or rough cuts can also be regenerated by sampling the surrounding audio for smooth, consistent, high-quality sound. Just highlight the moment and click Regenerate.

You can enhance background voices in Descript by splitting your audio track where the background voices occur and adjusting the equalization, noise reduction, or compression in the background voice track.

I was searching for an audio enhancer like SRS Audio Sandbox or DFX Audio Enhancer. The sort of enhancer that sits between your soundcard and Windows OS and processes all audio sources, be it music, movies or games. And today, I found one by mistake.

1) In Windows, type "Find and fix audio" into Search, or right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and select Troubleshoot sound problems.
2) Select Find and fix audio playback problems or Find and fix audio recording problems from the Search results.

I have been looking for a solution to this issue for a long time. I have an MSI laptop and it uses Nahimic as an audio enhancement program. When headphones are plugged in, War Thunder conflicts with this program and causes distorted sounds or no sounds at all. Same goes for Sonic Studio for Asus brand Motherboards and Laptops. After a while of tinkering I found a fix.

When you start up the game (with the above line completed ^^), go into the top left corner with the cog wheels. Click the "Options" button and then click the button for the "Voice Chat" section. Once you get there, click on the drop down menu for "Output Device (headphones)" just bellow the "Voice chat" switch and the "Input Device (microphone)" drop down menu.

I have not tried disabling voice chat completely. I tried switching to the headphones first before the voice chat. I'll post an update on what that does. What I think is happening is that the sound enhancing program is trying to deliver sound to the headphones at the same time the game is trying to deliver sound to another sound device. Causing sound distortion and lack of sound. I'm not sure though. It's just an educated guess. Some laptops have built in amps (Like some of the Clevo Brand machines and MSI laptops). My laptop has a built in amp using Sabre Hi-Fi. Nahimic only works when using the amp.

Nahimic 2 is a really good sound enhancing program now. I have a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-WS1100is headphones and it improves the bass quality, sound stage, and crispness of the sounds. I can hear Tanks much easier with Nahimic running and I can get a better sense of where it is coming from. I also like to listen to music and watch videos while I play. The sound of the music is improved dramatically when using Nahimic. But when I launched WT while using Nahimic, it would cut all sound no matter where is was coming from. It really sucks when using the standard jack and now that I found this, I can enjoy a good listening experience while playing AB.

[1]Classic enhancer mode is just a delay on one side (adjustable from 0 to 20 ms) plus pan & phase adjustment. The non-delayed side will tend to seem louder, just like if you used a delay block to get the same delay time.

To create a global Enhancer, add the Enhancer block to selected presets and assign Bypass to an External controller. Now use the Initial Value parameter for that external controller in the MIDI/Remote menu to engage or bypass the block in all those presets.

The SteelPhase sP01 Audio Enhancer is a modern low noise audio enhancer, with built in LiPo battery for over 20 hrs use. Unique features include a Mode switch to accept stereo and mono wiring, and a 3 position Filter. Designed and tested by prospectors for prospectors, with very good results on the Minelab SDC2300*, GPZ7000 and GPX series, including the GPX6000. It works extremely well with headphones and external speakers alike.

Combining a rugged yet stylish case and high quality components, provide a low noise circuit for the clearest amplified sound allowing you to hear the faintest of target signals. A custom made canvas pouch is also available.

One of my biggest attachments to Windows is DFX Audio Enhancer because it enhances audio from all applications before reaching my speakers (Restore quality, ambiance/surround simulation, etc.). Is there any similar software/configuration for Linux?

If you're using PulseAudio then it's possible to use the module-pipe-* modules to feed the audio data through a SoX executable that has been passed appropriate parameters. Note that this will add a small amount of latency to the audio though, with the specific amount dependent on the SoX parameters.
