Each "client" could have it's own installation of ControlTier making the CtlCenter UI ("WebConsole") available for push-button installation, but they would each have to have their own Workbench resource model due to the tightly-coupled nature of the framework ... this would be difficult to maintain.

Take a look at rundeck.org ... it's a lightweight spin-off of ControlTier's web console and can be configured to share a centralized resource model in a loosely-coupled fashion.

Hello All,

We have the following landscape. Binaries are generated and stored somewhere with different versions.
There are many clients which are normally offline and not available over network but time to time could be online and they would like to install
those binaries available in common location.

So it is not "push" mode where the same application should be distributed to several clients but "pull" mode where client initiates the update.

My question is if this schema would work with ControlTier? Can WebConsole be used on client side and when client is online then binaries would be pulled and installed on Client side?

Alternatively can server regularly check if client is available and deploy the application update?

Thanks a lot for your time.
Regards,

Boris
