I'm wondering how practical it would be to spin off a plugin version
of the document.write() overriding as a browser plugin. I imagine it'd
be quite popular as a way to speed up a lot of sites
(icanhascheezburger.com is one example) where ad scripts will block
rendering of most of the page for quite a long time occasionally.

I know some would say "just use an ad blocker", but that doesn't help
the owners of sites with the ads, who often count on them in order to
fund the site's upkeep.

ooo - I like this idea!

We have companies like Aptimize and Digital Fulcrum selling web
accelerators to the corporate world (website owners). I love the idea of
products targeted to the end user. I know I'd be willing to pay $10-20
for a plugin that would make *every* website I go to faster.
