it does not say the spacing the hole is not 1/4 it is 0.34375" or
11/32"

I thought if they were 1" apart & easy to order some people would
drill access holes & use this tube instead of the angle.

Yes, this is one of the options that can be used with Contraptor
(along with 80/20 and other T-slot profiles). The holes are a bit
oversize but with washers that's not a big issue. It's readily
available and the cost is roughly the same as fabricated angle (though
we hope it'll eventually be cheaper). On the downside, sliding
elements won't work with it and it's quite a bit heavier, but it
should be fine as a structural member and if weight is not a
consideration.

oh I thought belts would not work with it. sliding elements mini cnc
is what I had my eye on but maby the auto drill like yours would make
sense as contraption #1.
