Is this for sliding element pads or something else? The set currently

ok well if you falow that link and look above it imagine drilling and
tapping these through the bottom of the U to a metal angle piece now a
1 inch piece could go into it and slide. I thought it might be more
streight forward but now i wonder it might not be as adjustable etc as
your method but check it out & tell me what you think.
