2 dances this weekend in Toronto

Here are the details of 2 dance events this weekend:

 

Saturday evening:

Contra and square dance at St. Barnabas with Judy Greenhill and Reveillons, 7.30-10.30, new dancer orientation at 7.00pm Cost: $10.00/$8.00 for members. Student/unwaged discount-just ask at the door.

 

Sunday evening: English dance with Judy Greenhill, another caller TBA and open band at Danforth Baptist church 7-9pm Cost: $5.00

 

More details:

Saturday: St Barnabas church is on the south side of Danforth, just west of the Chester subway station.

This will be our annual Halloween dance; there is $1.00 off admission if you come in a costume.

Reveillons is a fabulous band from Montreal. You can check them out at http://reveillons.qc.ca/trad/main.php?lang=en They are hot! As an added bonus, one of their members calls as well, so we will be treated to some French Canadian squares.

 

 

Sunday: Come and enjoy some English country dancing with a very friendly and welcoming group of dancers. Danforth Baptist church is on Danforth Ave. on the south side, between Broadview and Chester subway station. More details can be found here http://www.ecdtoronto.ca/
