Hi ALl: Next Sunday, March 22 at Eastminster CHurch, we are holding a very
special concert and dance to raise money for our firned and fellow artist,
Dan Gorno of Michigan. Dan has been a mainstay of the ALgoma Trad music and
dance camp held on St. Joe's Island for the past 5 years, teaching
stepdancing and pottery. He is undergong cancer treatment in Michigan,
WITHOUT INSURANCE! (we forget how lucky we are sometimes) and as many of
Dan's fellow teachers and students as can make it have decided to do a
fund-raising event in his honour. But you don't have to know Dan to come
out for a great afternoon of music and dance, with the world's best dance
band, with musicians Shane COok, James Stephens, ANne Lederman, EMilyn Stam,
Brian Pickell, Ian Bell and Jake Charron, and callers Judy Greenhill and
Bill Russell. We will also have a short auction of donated artworks and CDs
with Rick Avery. It's completely a kid-friendly event, and it's going to
be a great afternoon. Please join us to kick up your heels and hear some
great music.

WHERE: Eastminster CHurch, 310 Danforth Ave.
WHEN: Martch 22, 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.
COST: By donation. We suggest $10/person, $25 per family, but it's entirely
up to you
