Sr.Drupal Developer

Duration- 6 months (Contract/CTH/FTE)

Location-Mountain View, CA

 

Must Have Skills: __• 12+ years of Web development related experience across a variety of technologies
• Solid experience with Content management, including (but not limited to) Drupal, 
• 4+ years of Drupal experience
• Strong knowledge of multiple database technologies including Oracle, MySQL, MS Access, etc.

* Strong knowledge of PHP 
• Enterprise data model development
• Database design modeling including both logical and physical modeling
• Data acquisition strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
• Solid knowledge and practical experience of development methodologies including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall

Desired Skills: ___Experience working with different versions of Drupal  6/7
• Experience with multiple Web Content Management Systems such as Drupal, TeamSite, 
• Database, Data Warehouse development

 

Work in an multi-vendor environment to understand current Web content System. Understand current challenges and vision of organization.

Architect a solution leveraging Drupal / including devising a POC to address customer needs.

Co-ordinate acceptance of the solution and build and execute the implementation  Plan

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities:     

 Consult with clients and assist in development of project strategy, project plans, and solution architecture

• Create professional-caliber documentation (reports, technical requirements, design specifications, data diagrams, etc.)
• Communicate project vision and plan to management and team members
• Develop a comprehensive project plan for fulfilling the clients' requirements including detailed Levels of Effort (LOEs), work breakdown structure, baselines, and timeline
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff throughout the development cycle to ensure quality of end product, providing specialized technical knowledge to web development and enhancement projects
• Collaborates with cross functional and multi-vendor teams on technical solutions
• Effectively delegate tasks to team members and clients as needed
• Manage scope, process, timelines, and change requests
• Have a *take-charge* attitude and be able to take initiative and ownership
• Provide leadership and mentorship and maintain a positive *can-do* attitude to all team members

·  This is a hands on role and will involve hands on development responsibilities
