Need a senior Ab Initio GDE Developer with Unix Shell scripting and basic JMS and Teradata skills. Any additional knowledge/experience with JAVA and WebServices is a plus. The Webservcies piece has been done for the most part and they will be able to re-use the Webservices already completed. The primary skills needed are Ab Initio (Ab Initio GDE “Graphical Development Environment” )to build and execute graphs, continuous flows and vectors; Unix Shell Scripting and Teradata backend (mostly need to know about the Teradata utilities that interact with Ab Initio – like BTEQ, Fastload, Multiload, TPump, DDL Commands and DML Commands (SQL).
Required:
- Ab Initio Development – senior level - particularly with the Graphical Development Environment “GDE” to develop graphs, continuous flows and vectors.
- Batch Processing
- Unix Shell scripting – strong knowledge and usage
- JMS
- Teradata as a backend data warehouse. Should be familiar with Teradata utilities.
Preferred:
- JAVA, XML, Webservices (Basic level of hands-on experience with these would be a plus)
