LOCATION: Buffalo, NY
DURATION: 1 YR

Please make sure the candidates are strong in MQ Series SOA (Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, ESB, MQ Messaging or JMS).. 
*NOT Oracle SOA and NOT Restful SOA

Web Services (SOA) Developer will be responsible for: 

Understanding application design principals and application architecture 
Translate customer needs into requirements 
Analysis and detailed design for assigned tasks 
On-going communication of status to co-workers and business contacts 
Documentation of detailed technical design 
Development of test cases and will be required to work with QA during testing 

Extensive experience and knowledge of SOA environment with the abillity to design and implement reusable integration objects. 
Extensive knowledge and experience working with integration tools and services using Web Logic, Java, .Net, WSDL, SOA, XMP, MQ Messaging, Enterprise Service Bus. 
Knowledge of SOA registry and repository technology. 
SQL programming experience, including frameworks. 
Ability to navigate and work on multiple operating systems such as Windows and Unix/AIX. 

Nice to have: 
Advanced knowledge with integration tools such as Informatica is preferred. 
Ability to work as part of a team or to be self-directed as required. 
Good organizational and project management skills. 
Experience with methodology based development, including agile and waterfall.
