Duration: 6 Months (Extendable on need basis)
Person must have Mainframe Testing experience using Load runner and good mainframe skills around Cobol, DB2, JCL.
Description:
1. Performance test scripting
2. Performance Analysis specific to the reports in
a. Network
b. Database
c. Application server
d. Volume testing with specific to Data sets
e. Concurrent access using the number of virtual users
3. Schedule tests across multiple servers and locations
4. Performance monitoring at run time
a. Network
b. Database
c. Application server
d. Volume testing with specific to Data sets
e. Concurrent access of application using the number of virtual users
5. Fixing the performance scripts defects
6. Throughput analysis, Response time analysis, Peak load analysis, Page download analysis, Page breakdown analysis, Network Breakdown analysis for different bandwidth
7. Ramp up and Ramp down procedures based on different conditions
8. Report the identified bottlenecks with statistics (Details)
9. Recommend the areas of improvement to dev team (Not responsible for fixing the defects or performance)
