Sincere apologies for yesterday’s unintended breach.  Tried my best to avert but could not succeed.

 

I would just want to know whether we can have a class today between 2.30 and 4.00 p.m.  I will try to return from my meeting around that time.  Kindly give me 10-15 minutes margin.

 

Similarly, I would want to know whether we can have tomorrow’s class between 11.20 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.

 

May I request Arjun or Nandini to respond ASAP.

Today from 2 30 to 3 15 there is a talk by Mr.  Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan on corporate practice after law school. Personally, I am very interested in attending that talk and know of a few other people who are. But it appears that the majority of the class is OK with it so we can proceed to have class. I seek permission on behalf of those who wish to attend the talk to come to attend only half the class.

Further, tomorrow morning from 11:20 to 1 30 we have classes of the compulsory course of Professional Ethics. and from 2 to 4 we have mergers (earlier scheduled from 4 to 6, but was moved in anticipation of 4 to 6 class of contract structuring. Thus, it may be possible to move this back to 4 to 6)

Sir, it appears that we have the following options available for tomorrow:

1. Request the exam department to check with Ms. Versha Vahini and cancel Professional ethics for tomorrow and have applied contracts instead.

2. Check with Prof Pillai if he can take class from 4 to 6. and have contract structuring class from 2 to 4.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. After going through your mail I felt that having parallel class is not in the interest of the students.  The students will be deprived of the talk.  Hence, in my opinion, it is better if we cancel the class today.

 

Arjun and Nandini – please inform all the students that there is no class today and they can attend the talk.

 

Regarding tomorrow’s class, will get back to you soon.
