Title: JMeter Performance Tester
Type of Hire: Contract
Location: Onshore/Nearshore
Time zone: Must work PST Hours
Willing to use own laptop
Mandatory Participation Requirements:

Morning Standup: 8:30 AM PST (mandatory)

Primary Communication Channel: Microsoft Teams chat (mandatory; all key communications will occur here)

End-of-Day Standup: 3:00 PM PST (mandatory, unless canceled)
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated expertise across the full performance engineering lifecycle, including
planning, design, development, execution, and reporting. The selected resource will undergo a structured onboarding program, which includes a
two-week training and knowledge transfer period covering CLIENTS processes, tools, and standards. During this time, the individual will
collaborate closely and shadow an existing Performance Engineer. The expectation is that the resource will become
fully independent and self-sufficient post-onboarding with open communications. Strong communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team environment

Minimum of 7+ years of JMeter (test plans, correlation, parameterization, assertions, Groovy/Beanshell scripting, distributed load
execution) Must have handson experience.

Load Modeling. Experience designing and executing load, stress, soak, spike, and scalability tests. Must have handson experience.

Min 7+ years of
experience with the ability to define and track performance metrics such as latency, throughput, error rates, and concurrency.

a minim of 3+
experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines, automated performance runs, dashboards, reporting, and work‑item tracking.

Min 3+ years of
GIT for branching, merging, pull requests, and repository management

Strong experience with Application Insights, including metrics, logs, dependency tracking, failures, and KQL queries.
Familiarity with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Azure Monitor, Splunk and Logic Monitoring
|

|
Minimum of 5+ of REST APIs, JSON payload structures, authentication, and use of tools such as Postman.
|
|
|
|
Minimum 3+ years of
Azure components like App Service, APIM, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB, autoscaling, and networking fundamentals.

Ability to prepare and manage test data, identify environment gaps, and work through technical dependencies.

Understanding of root‑cause analysis, telemetry review, debugging issues, and identifying bottlenecks across app, service, and DB layers.

Minimum of 5+ years ability to produce clear performance reports with insights, charts, trends, and recommended optimizations.
