Job Description
We are seeking an experienced R Programmer / Data Analyst to join our team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in R programming, Python, and Oracle, with proven ability to perform independent data analysis, develop solutions, and enhance existing systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, hands-on development experience, and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data analysis using R and Python.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering, architecture, and design of data-driven solutions.
- Query and analyze large datasets using Oracle for business insights.
- Enhance and optimize existing data warehouse (DWH) projects and implement new solutions on Cloud.
- Contribute to system improvements, development, and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain code repositories using GitHub and follow Agile methodology for project execution.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of industry experience in software development and data analysis.
- Strong expertise in R programming.
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Proficient in Oracle SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with SLM tools such as GitHub.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
