Original Cases on Sale of Goods Act, 1930

Dear all,

Please find attached three original judgments on the above mentioned sections

of the Sale of Goods Act, 1930. The judgments are in the same order as the sections.

They are English cases, so sections will not match. But study the principles and the

corresponding provisions:

1st Case- exercise of lien during sale on credit S.47(1)(b)

2nd Case- Termination of Seller's Lien on delivery to buyer or his agent S.49(1)(a)

3rd Case- Termination of Lien after buyer lawfully obtains possession S.49(1)(b)

Please read the cases so that doubts and difficulties can be discussed in class.
