Can you imagine! I'd love to see it in action.

I liked playing with the flower picture, changing focus from the foreground single flower to the middle ground bunch and then to the background seashore.
It can be a neat creative tool, not sure it will sell millions though. I hope there's an option to select multiple in-focus zones (wider dof).

I don't think it will appeal much to serious photographers. I do think it will be a great boon to the millions of people who complain about their vacation photos always being out of focus.

I played with the flower and thought the technology works pretty well.  This should add another few hundred dollars to our next generation of cameras.

very neat; it’s only the beginning

down the road, I see it as
- dial-a-focus,
- dial-a-light-angle,
- dial-a-mood,
- dial-a-composition,
- dial-a-click,
etc

Hi Barb & all

Wow....pretty amazing technology, but I agree with Barbara. Serious photographers wouldn't have to have as much skill and may not like it, but I think it would be great for amateur vacation photographers.

That's cool!
If anyone can reduce the size and weight of the camera and lens, and keep the same imaging quality, that will be the best.
