Hi folks: The Flurry Festival is coming up soon, and in anticipation, Hubbard Hall is offering a series of sessions for new dancers who’d like the opportunity to “get up to speed” with contra dancing in a small, easygoing group. This class will teach beginners everything they need to know to dance with confidence and joy at the Flurry. All the basic figures: circles, stars, allemandes, ladies chain, swing!, and more. Plus a brief introduction to square dancing and English country dancing, as time allows. No experience required. No partner necessary. Come and have fun!
