Two dances coming up in Cambridge!

Hello all: Have a wonderful holiday weekend, and remember that two great contra dances are coming up soon in Cambridge, New York. Help spread the word!

 

 

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 25, 5 p.m. Contra dance in the Freight Depot Theater Music by the Cambridge Dance Orchestra, caller Fern Bradley. Potluck supper follows the dance at 7 p.m. Admission $8 adults, $5 age 21 and younger, $15 family rate.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1, 4 p.m. Contra dance in Hubbard Hall with legendary musicians Jay Ungar and Molly Mason Caller Fern Bradley. Experience the wonderful ambience and great wooden dance floor in this historic building. A potluck supper in the Freight Depot Theater will follow the dance at 6 p.m. Dance admission: $8

Following the potluck Jay and Molly will present a concert in Hubbard Hall, including their timeless renditions of Appalachian melodies, Cajun and Celtic fiddle tunes, Civil War classics, sassy songs from the golden age of swing and country, stunning waltzes, and moving original works.

Concert admission: $25 general admission, $20 HH members, $15 children and students
