LA COUNTY ARTS SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
$3,500/10 WEEKS/40 hours a week
INTERN with CONTRA-TIEMPO June 2nd - August 8th
(start/end dates are flexible)

position is limited to currently enrolled full-time undergraduates who reside in and/or attend college in Los Angeles County

contra-tiempo a non-profit, LA-based, activist dance company, engages a diverse audience with their unique Salsa-based, urban-Latin dance theater. Looking for someone ORGANIZED, hard-working, dedicated, professional and positive! Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus! This is an amazing opportunity to work with a fast rising dance company and get valuable experience and be a part of the inner workings of an emerging arts organization! Job will include several projects:

1) Heading up outreach efforts to public and private schools throughout the city for contra-tiempo's arts-education program
2) Developing a comprehensive document of teacher and student feedback based on written evaluations from previous years
3) Implementing Marketing campaign for company's August tour (press releases, press outreach and web networking)
4) Help design and create marketing materials for the company (please let us know if you have experience working with Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro)
