Contra dance and pot luck this Saturday

This Saturday Jon and Patti are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. They have offered to sponsor a community dance and pot luck the evening of Saturday May 2, 2015 at the Odd Fellow’s hall. We will be sharing stories, fun, and food starting at 6:00 with a potluck. Please come and bring something to share. The dancing lessons will start at 7:30 and the regular contra dance at 8:00. Jon was the original president of contra indications, but Patti’s and his and roots in this dance community go way back. Please come and join us to congratulate them on 25 years and share food and dance with old and new friends.

Reid Miller (Madison/Ames) will be calling and the Porch Stompers will be providing lively music. The Odd fellow’s hall is at 2904 Kingman Blvd in Des Moines. More information can be found at http://contra-indicatons.org.
