Facebook April 9 Contra Dance Invitation Help

Hello Des Moines Contra Dancers,

The Facebook Event Invitation for the upcoming April 9 contra dance so far has 6 people Going, 9 people Interested and 37 people Invited.  That's pretty good, I say.  Seeing a full dance floor would be awesome.  Can you help?  It is as easy as 1-2-3...

1 - enter the folowing in a search engine: 
          https://www.facebook.com/events/991239720970012/
2 - indicate your preference (I hope it is Going, or at least Interested)
3 - Invite your Des Moines area Facebook friends to the dance.

Facebook Event Invitation Report: 

We're up to 17-Interested, 7-Going, 52-Invited. 

Doing some math:  If the 17 Interested and 7 Going used to be Invited, the Invited total used to be 76. 

That means 22% of those originally Invited are Interested, and 9% are Going. 

That is respectable this far in time from the date, and using Facebook friends as the primary info source. 

Suppose we double, triple, quadruple, the Invited figure, and the math extends.  Just thinking aloud.  Suppose turnout from the other email sources equals turnout from Facebook.  At maximum that means 4 x 7 x 2 = 56 from Facebook and email.  That is respectable.  Consider Amy's 10 high schoolers, and the "draw" of DMSC....

I shared the information with some music teachers in central Iowa. Hopefully that will create some interest. I'm very interested in attending, but I'm about 2 hours away from Des Moines, so we'll see what the schedule looks like. Thanks for organizing!!
