Just two weeks until the next Contra dance at the DMSC

Contra-indications is very happy to announce our next contra dances to be held on the second floor of the Des Moines Social Club on May 14. Contra dance is fun and it will be even more fun at our new location which has a wood floor. There is free enclosed parking right next door (East on Mulberry St, at the Wells Fargo parking ramp). We will start with teaching at 7:30pm and move on to group dancing at 8:00pm. Try something new! Dances taught! Newcomers welcome! Bring a crowd, come with a friend, or fly solo!. As you may know it is easy to learn, so don’t let you friends say “I don’t know how.”
Please spread the word! If we get a good turnout we will strive to make this a regular event. Reid Miller will be calling and we will have the Melon Farmer band live. For more information check out http://contra-indications.org
