I am new to the camera so might be wrong but it looks like both catalyst browse and create, while stabilizing in app (although crashing about 50% of the times) will only export unstabilized footage on my M2 macbook - I also installed the premiere plugin but when installed it will not even import footage with gyro data (it will get stuck on import) any ideas for a fix or alternative?

I use my a7s iii mainly for handheld concert work - standard stabilization with catalyst browse stabilization in post to get really smooth shots. I recently bought a Ninja V, mainly to monitor better, for additional storage space and also for Pro Res Raw.

First thing I didnt really think to check before i bought it if Pro Res Raw contains the necessary data/metadata for catalyst browse to stabilize in post. It doesnt and thats completely fine, I dont particularly need raw anyway. Now what I would like to do, if its even possible since I cant find an obvious answer, is to "bypass" my sd cards (or extend storage if you will) and record 4K XAVC S-I (with catalyst appropriate metadata) directly to my ninja V, sort of like a pass-through.

Or really any other potential work around that will let me use my Ninja V and catalyst browse in post (as far is ive tried Pro Res 422, Pro Res Raw and DNxHR dont contain stabe metadata and I dont have the h265 codec unlocked to try that one)

I understand to utilize the gyro data on the a7c with catalyst browse I need to leave the IBIS off. My question is can I still use the OSS in the Sony lens along with using gyro data in catalyst browse?

I'm trying to use Catalyst Browse with XAVC HS footage from my A7 IV and when I installed catalyst browse it couldn't connect to the registration server so I had to go online and enter the code to download the txt file to activate the software but now if I try to open the XAVC HS footage it needs to register for that but just says "The registration website is not immediately accessible. Please check your internet connection or try again later". I've tried this on two machines (PC and Mac), with the 2022 and 2021 version, and on multiple internet connections and keep getting the same error on all.

I have not had any luck getting Catalyst Browse to work with the new Mac mini m1. When I load my A7S3 footage into the app it is completely black. I am shooting in XAVC S-I 4K and it is a mp4 file. There is sound but absolutely no video. I tried exporting the clip from FCPX in an Apple ProRes 422 codec and was able to see my footage in Catalyst Browse but the media to stabilize my footage is gone when I load it into catalyst browse. So it defeats the purpose of using Catalyst Browse to stabilize footage. Please help, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The books in the library are shelved in call number order, so books on a similar topic are shelved together. Take time to look at the books shelved near books that you've found. You can also use Catalyst to virtually browse the shelves: click on a record for a print book title (ebooks are not included in this feature) and scroll down to Virtual Browse to see books that would be shelved nearby.

Many book records in Catalyst (print or e-book) have a "Virtual Browse" section at the bottom of the catalog record. You can virtually browse the library shelves to see print books and e-books on the same subject.

Once you find a relevant print book in Catalyst, use the MAP IT! tool to discover its location in the library. Once you get to the section, browse the nearby titles to see if there are other books that address your topic, or even inspire a better, more refined topic!
