ReshamFiriri (Nepali: रेशम फरर) is a traditional Nepali folk song, composed by Buddhi Pariyar and originally performed by Sunder Shrestha and Dwarika Lal Joshi in 1969. Due to sudden rise in popularity, it became one of the most widely known and performed songs in Nepal. It is often played on the sarangi, a native instrument, as street music.[1][2][3][4]

Shah Rukh Khan led romantic drama Dil To Pagal Hai has been a cult classic for years. The film has many iconic songs including Bholi Si Surat. Fans recently pointed out that the song is inspired by a Nepali song which came out three years before SRK's film release. Reports revealed that both songs are sung by Udit Narayan but the makers never publicly revealed where the song came from.

While Deuki was a serious drama about a tradition in West Nepal where women were often offered to temples and they could never marry and often ended up living as prostitutes. On the other hand, Dil To Pagal Hai led by Shah Rukh Khan also starred Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles.

The film followed the trio in a romantic story about love and friendship. Bholi si Surat was picturized on Shah Rukh Khan and Karishma Kapoor along with few glimpses of Madhuri Dixit. Dil Tho Pagal Hai was directed by legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra.
