90's - A Middle Class Biopic is an Indian Telugu-language drama television series created, written and directed by Aditya Haasan.[2] The series was produced by Naveen Medaram[3] and Rajasekhar Medaram under the banner of Medaram Naveen Official Productions and Amogha Arts. It stars Sivaji, Vasuki Anand, Mouli, Snehal Kamath, Vasanthika, and Rohan Roy.[4] It premiered on ETV Win on 5 January 2024.[5] It received highly positive reviews from critics.[6]
In the heart of Wanaparthy, 90's tale revolves around Chandra Sekhar, a dedicated government teacher, and his wife, Rani, who tirelessly manages their modest home. The couple raises their three children - Raghu Teja, Divya, and Aditya - amid everyday struggles of a middle-class life.
Their lives echo the challenges of balancing dreams and reality, especially for the children, often left disheartened by the compromises demanded by their financial circumstances. A critic from 123telugu gave the series 3.25/5 stars in their review and wrote that "90's is an engaging family entertainer encapsulating numerous nostalgia-inducing moments. Staying true to its tagline, the show serves as a middle-class biopic, replete with relatable and endearing scenes. The performances by Shivaji, Vasuki, Mouli, Vasanthika, and Rohan are commendable, portraying their roles convincingly. The storyline, while simple and direct, is presented in a heartwarming manner. However, the pacing tends to slow down in the middle sections, and the overall length could benefit from some trimming. Music and Background score gave a wonderful support for the series. Nevertheless, 90's makes for a recommended watch this weekend."[7]

It recalls memories and experiences, putting middle-class life in front of the eyes. It portrays elements like middle-class parents who want to make their children useful. Their children are afraid of the future, and they are attracted to school at an age they don't know. This is a perfect web series to watch with family. They appricated the seamless role of music composing for the series, Although it seems stretched here and there, it is not boring; it flows smoothly".[8]
A critic from M9News gave the series 3/5 stars wrote, 90's is "A Lovely Nostalgic Trip" and stated "The film boasts a succinct cast, primarily focused on a family, where each character is meticulously selected. Sivaji, portraying the role of a middle-class father, husband, and disciplined mathematics teacher, delivers a performance that precisely meets the demands of the role without excess".[9]
A critic from englishtupaki.com stated that 90's is "Clean Fun, Touching Emotions & Complete Relatability!" and "The series exhibits some flaws, notably its slow pacing that might not appeal universally, and the repetitive nature of its romantic segments leading to stagnant progression. Additionally, the editing and visuals occasionally appear tacky; however, these aspects are overshadowed by the relatable nature of the characters. Overall, '90's' proves itself a show worthy of viewers' time".[10]

The incorporation of a few more comedic scenes could have heightened the entertainment value, further enriching the serious portrayal of this middle-class biopic."[13]

Bigg Boss is an Indian Telugu-language television reality show of the Bigg Boss franchise which airs on Star Maa and streams on Disney+ Hotstar in India. It follows the format of the Dutch reality show Big Brother, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands.

Eventually, one housemate would leave after being "evicted" from the House. In the final week, there were five housemates remaining, and the public voted for who they wanted to win. Unlike other versions of Big Brother, the Indian version uses celebrities as housemates, In season two, Bigg Boss team had selected three common people as contestants from the auditions.
They always have to wear a label and They cannot leave the House premises at any time unless they are evicted or decided by Bigg Boss. They can not discuss the nomination process with anyone. They are not allowed to sleep without the permission of Bigg Boss.
The house for season one was set up at Lonavala.[2] From season two onwards, the house was set up in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad.[3] The house is well-furnished and decorated. It has a variety of modern amenities, but just one or two bedrooms and four toilet bath rooms. There is a garden, pool, activity area and gym in the House. There is also a Confession Room, where the housemates may be called in by Bigg Boss for any kind of conversation, and for the nomination process. The jail was added from season two onwards in the house and in season three, courtyard part was added in the house. In season four newly special living area and lounge room were added by replacing activity and courtyard part in the house.
Bigg Boss is aired on Star Maa and also available on Disney+ Hotstar. Everyday episodes contain the main happenings of the previous day. Every Sunday episode mainly focuses on an interview of an evicted contestant by the host. The unseen episode will be available as Bigg Boss Buzzz on Star Maa Music and Disney+ Hotstar.
The series is also set to roll out a digital version of the show called Bigg Boss Non-Stop, which is also going to be hosted by Nagarjuna and broadcast by Disney+ Hotstar for 247 coverage.[20][21][22]
The launch of season 3 opened with 17.9 TVR, which is bigger than the previous seasons.[25] The grand finale of season 3 of duration four and half hours scored 18.29 TVR being the highest ever rating achieved by the Bigg Boss Indian franchise. The last hour of telecast, featuring Chiranjeevi as chief guest, alone garnered 22.4 TVR.[26]
The launch of season 4 opened with 18.5 TVR[8] higher than previous seasons. On Week 7, Samantha Akkineni hosted the show, while main host Nagarjuna is in Manali for his movie shooting and the episode was also extended to 3 hours, from the usual 1 hours and the episode opened with 11.4 TVR,[citation needed] which was higher trp among all the weekends. The grand finale of season 4 became most watched and created a record with viewership as it garnered highest TRP rating of 21.7 TVR among all seasons of Bigg Boss editions.[27]
The launch of fifth season has received about 17.7 TVR in general and 18 TVR with HD viewership and also, the latest rating proves that show's popularity has remained intact.[11] The grand finale episode had secured 18.4 TVR and millions of views on Disney+ Hotstar.[12]
The launch episode opened with 8.86 TVR, while finale episode received 8.17 TVR and recorded has lowest TRPs in the history of the reality TV series in Telugu. The week's average TVR for this season failed to surpass the bar set by its predecessors, too.[28][29]
Bigg Boss Buzzz is an Indian Telugu-language Television talk show with evicted housemates of reality television series Bigg Boss Telugu. From season 3 onwards, the show features evicted housemates interview with previous season contestant as a host on every Monday episode and also unseen portions of episodes that were not aired on television will be aired on Star Maa Music.
