Assistance Needed with cmsInitDB Command Errors

Hello, my name is Marco and I am currently conducting research on CMS for a university project. However, I am experiencing issues when trying to run the command cmsInitDB. When I execute the command, multiple errors appear, and I am unsure how to proceed.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the errors for reference. I would really appreciate any guidance or support you can provide to help me resolve this.

Hello,

The error message says, among other things, that no configuration file has been provided. This is an unusual situation, as in most cases you want to provide a configuration file to CMS to tell it where to find the database etc. So I would start by providing a configuration file.

More generally, make sure you are attentively following the documentation on cms.readthedocs.org
