Thisis a project we had to do at the beginning of the quarter: a post card, so that Ms. Segal could see our writing style and what we did over the summer. I am proud of the overall look of my postcard. Next to the post card is a rubric and the grade I got on my post card. Next time I will make sure to go over the rubric before handing it in.
This is a worksheet we had to do on the movie Akeelah And The Bee we watched in class. I am proud that I completed the worksheet because sometimes it can be hard to answer questions while watching a movie.
First Sheet: We were given a partner and the assignment was to plan a day/trip out. We had to get to a plaza, eat, shop, watch a movie, and get back home. We used functional text like a menu, a schedule and more. Second Sheet: This is a reflection we had to do on our trip and using different functional text. I am proud that we planned our trip out and used the functional text we were given well.
This is a response sheet. We had to write about the theme of our book, how we know, and how we can use the lesson in your own life. The book I wrote about was Once. Next time i will follow directions and make sure to answer everything that was asked.
This is the rubric for my Flip Chart. We made sections and wrote about a different subject about the book in different sections. For example in one section you would write about the main character and in another about the climax. I am proud of the way I expressed myself and the way my flip chart turned out.
